RE: DOB violation fines

I was looking thru some DOB property profiles and notice some with outstanding violation/penalty dues. These people have not paid the fines for many years. Does anyone know what will happen to these fines? Thanks.

I think the fines travel to the new owner if there is a sale. to add to above, dob will not approve any permits or changes to cofo with outstanding.

Hazardous violations => ecb court. Non hazardous wait till permit or some interaction with DOB is needed. Fines + penalties.
