Matthew Wynn at Aberdeen is terrific — extremely thorough, excellent at walking through his findings with amateurs (aka me), quick turnaround. We’ve used him twice and his rate was around $800-850 for each.

I’ve run into Rich Perri a few times on our projects and have seen his reports. He’s very thorough, and found him very thorough and responsive. He and I have talked through a few issues on site and came up with the same recommendations. I can’t say anything about his cost, but I can say that I respect his opinions when I’ve seen them.

Tony came in at about $700 from memory, but I felt he was worth it. The first time we used him his report highlighted so many issues that we walked away from the sale and the second time around he gave us enough detail to help us negotiate a reduction in price, to the tune of about $6k.

We loved Aberdeen Building Consulting. Very thorough and responsive, timely and friendly. We had our entire inspection back within less than 24 hours (over a weekend, no less.) Now that we’re done with demo, we’ve found that everything he said was true. Highly highly recommended.

We used Tony Castoro of Gotham City Home Inspections twice about 12 months ago. He is unbelievably thorough. Our reports included things like ‘3rd floor master bathroom toilet has loose screw on right hand side, where toilet connects to floor’. He spends hours doing each inspection.
