Ladder to Roof Hatch - Wood to Steel

Hi all, Hoping someone has a recommendation for me. Our roof hatch is accessed by a wooden ladder that I would like to have replaced with a steel (or other recommended metal) one. The way ours is configured, you have to climb over the upstairs banister and onto the ladder which slants over the stairwell to the wall and up to the roof hatch. It is a bit scary as you have a kinda long way to fall if the wooden ladder comes loose or for some reason gives way. Anyone have a recommendation for a company that can either do something custom or point me in the direction of a prefab solution? Thank you! fitch

I used a local ironworker. They designed, fabricated and installed. The price was not crazy.
