Insulation Recommendation

I’m posting to recommend Federal Conservation Corp. after the superb job they did blowing InsulSafe insulation into the entire crawl space area below our roof. Joey and his team were professional, thorough and meticulous in clean up. Our roofer recommended them, and I want to pass along the recommendation.

Luker: We had InsulSafe SP (Fiber Glass Blowing Insulation) blown in from the roof. Because there is no access to the crawl space from the hatch ladder in our house, they cut two square holes into the roof, one about 10 feet from the front, the second closer to the back. The insulation was blown in via a truck parked out front, with the hose going up the front of the house (not through it). Once finished, two ten inch mushroom vents were installed over the two openings and sealed. It did not take more than 2 hours total. The charge was $2.00 per square foot for the insulation, and a separate charge for the vents (maybe $200?).

I second the recommendation. They did a great job for me 2 years ago, really helping on heat and cooling.
