Getting rid of old oil tanks
Have an old oil tank to get out of my basement. What company does this? Approximate Cost? Any special protocol with DEP or any other city agency to get this done? Thank you for any recommendations or comments.

We used ABC as well. Ours was 750 gal, easy access in the basement. For draining, cleaning, then cutting up and removal we paid just under $1000\. Their contact # 718.272.2800\.

i used ABC Tank Repair. They come, they get rid of it, they leave you with all the needed paperwork – i believe it’s an affidavit that it was removed properly, that you file with the Fire Dept. Cost varies for all sorts of reasons – i had a 1080 gallon monster entombed in concrete, and recall paying something around 3k to get that bugger cut up and hauled away.
