Cost of Paint Stripping

I’ve always stripped my own paint, so I don’t know what it would cost to have something stripped. I’m selling a mirror in as-is condition (that means with paint) but I did write in the listing that I would consider stripping. Now, of course someone has asked me how much that would be and I have no clue what to charge. Help.Please.Has anyone had someone else strip a mirror or similar for them? What does one pay for such a service? Even a door. Just need a ballpark and I’ll take it from there. I just had my pocket doors done at Dip N Strip in NJ – they are 2.5′ x 7.5′ and I paid $175 per door. They came out AMAZING.

a mirror frame like that with glass in place would cost $250 to strip to bare wood; with glass removed about $125. most doors go for $225-250.

Thanks, Rick. At least I have something to go by now. If it’s not me stripping it, the buyer can take it anywhere they wish. I don’t want to upcharge the stripping if I can do it in the shop.

I’ve had average size doors stripped at a shop for around $350\. each. If you remove the mirror and drop it off at Degamba or Park Slope Stripper it could be less since it’s a basic frame and one side?
