cost of a new hot water heater?

How large is your house? 100g heaters are much more expensive than 75 or 65 (which I have for a 2-fam. 6-person household and we don’t lack hot water.) A 65g. high-recovery from Sears was abt. 650 + 350 install.

If I remember right, ours is 50 gallon (4 story building). Total cost in 2013 was $1350.
