Cost for new roof railing

I am in the process of purchasing a brownstone. I want to install a roof railing on 2 sides of the roof (1 side ~15 feet, and 1 side ~20 feet). Any guidance on how much it would cost to install a simple metal railing including required permits (and going through the landmark approval process)? Thanks!

Lopopolo ironworks are making the railing and installing. The job isn’t done yet so I can’t answer your other questions.

rcc147- Who did you use for your railing and did they do the installation or did someone else? Also, did they need to put in any special support, or did it just go into the building exterior wall? Thanks!

I’m installing a 20ft roof railing at the moment. Already have DoB and landmarks approval as part of a larger job so can’t comment on cost for this alone, but the railing is $1500 custom made from a local iron shop including installation.
