Contractor Recommendation: Chris Lombardi. Amazing work.

Hi. Not too long ago I was on this very forum looking for a contractor to renovate our half-bathroom. Fortunately, I was able to find the name of Chris Lombardi (516) 322-9060 on these boards and was extremely happy I did. Not only did Chris come in at a cheaper price than the other contractors I met with, he did the work in half the time! My wife was pregnant during our renovation and he was extremely understanding and took extra steps to make sure that our apartment was in perfect condition when he left everyday, and took many extra steps to minimize any dust. Furthermore, he was extremely responsive by phone and text (unlike some other folks), and was a super genial and pleasant person to have in our home. Not only is his work ethic terrific, he also helped us get discounts on the items that we wanted to use for the bathroom, and even picked up the tiles for us from a place in Dyker Heights. We liked Chris’s work so much, that we hired him to do other jobs for us and I will definitely be using him again in the future. Here are some photos of the job…see for yourself.

Well then I stand corrected. You have to admit the post has all the earmarks of a shill post: first time poster, over-the-top praise, etc. I did commend the work, though. It’s nice! Mistakes happen.

Master Plumber: the thing is, I like to think I am the person who got Mr. Lombardi started in Brooklyn after referring him to a customer of mine in Ft Greene. I saw his work in that house and listened to the praise our mutual customer bestowed upon him and then watched as she posted a rec for Chris here on BS and that rec sounded very much like what Matt Bordon said. This is not coincidence nor is it a shill. He has since done work for other customers of mine in Bed Stuy and they said the same things about him. It is all true and he is highly talented. Steve

Clearly “Matt Borden” is Chris Lombardi who thinks we were all born yesterday, but I must say the piping on the sink looks nicely done. The tile stops were lined up very well with the fixture shut offs. Not bad.
