community outreach programs

Hey there, I’m looking for community outreach programs in Brooklyn dedicated specifically to the elder population…adult centers that are cost free or affordable….if anyone knows of any….please post! Appreciated.

Go to NYC.gov Department for the Aging. There’s a searchable list of senior community centers throughout the City. They’re free except for an optional lunch donation or the cost of trips. There’s at least one in practically every neighborhood. If you can’t search online, you can call 311 and they should be able to direct you to the one closest to where you live.
