Cellar / basement clean up

Does anyone have a recommendation for someone who will come with a strong dry vac and clean up a basement floor? There’s a lot of fine debris.

Home Depot vacs won’t work well . You need a vac with a hepa filter and dual filtration setup .

I’ve used Kleanfreaks when I moved into my house. Hit them up for a quote and mention those details. Or buy yourself a Henry (the British brand) – they work pretty well for such things (and I use it in my basement to pick up crummy debris). I can’t help on the lead front mentioned above. I’ve probably inhaled too much as it is.

Not to spook you, but if some of that debris has painted plaster that has detached from your wall, it may contain lead paint, in which case shop-vaccing it might stir up dust. Judging from your username, I assume there is at at least one child in the house. You still might be ok doing it, just take precautions like not wearing the same shoes as you wear inside and same with clothing. It’s all worth considering.

I would recommend going to your local homedepot, and buying yourself a good shop vac. In the long run you’ll be better off because that fine debris will keep on coming back every few months.
