Approximate cost of an electrician?

Hi all, We had a pretty bad leak in our apartment caused by an upstairs neighbor that soaked the walls and ceilings in several rooms. I’d like to get an electrician to come out and check the fuse box and light fixtures to make sure they’re safe for use, etc. I know no one can tell me exact amounts, but can someone give me a ballpark estimate of what that service call might cost? There isn’t really any set charge rate and prices can fluctuate drastically based on geographical location and the level of expertise. I’ve had ask prices from different electricians and they do differ. The best thing that I’ve tried is going to EZBZ and ask for quotes and choose the one with the lowest price. Every electrician should have a minimum price your just showing up. Call one and find out what they charge. It probably would be about $200\. If they don’t spend more than 45 minutes or an hour, you will not be charged more than the minimum.
