We had our front redone a few years ago before I took over managing the property and the work was not done well. The brownstone on the stairs crumbles off every 6 months or so, I’m always repairing and not very good at it! Does anyone have a company to recommend to re-brownstone the stairs, and/or an estimated cost for this project?

I would highly recommend High-Tech Construction company. They did my stoop for me years ago and they are in great shape. High-Tech actually specializes in brownstone which is the reason why i choose them after a co-worker gave me their number. And compared to other companies High-Tech is quite affordable. I compared a lot of companies before I decided to hire them. But the quality of work was great. My steps look amazing. If interested you could reach them at 1347-792-1266. Best of luck.
we used a malek and they cracked after a year. they used an inferior crew. they did our facade and we are happy with that. you have to watch them carefully. if we were doing it over we would use roy d construction.
A. Malek did a beautfiul job on ours a decade ago. Held up great – no cracks at all in stairs, even though we salted them in the winter. You can find their contact info various places, including on signs on homes they are working on. We hired them for other jobs as well, and were always happy with the work. The stoop was not cheap, but we were happy we got a great job – sometimes you get what you pay for.
