White Mold Problem
Hi Guys: I tried posting once before and no response from you guys. I need help. I have white mold in my house and I have a defumidifer, what else can I do – what kind of specialist can I reach out to?

I tried posting once before and no response from you guys. I need help. I have white mold in my house and I have a defumidifer, what else can I do – what kind of specialist can I reach out to?
If you cut off the water supply, you won’t have mold. Do you have leaks anywhere in the basement or first floor or from your plumbing? Fix those. The people who handle that are engineers and/or contractors, as far as I know. Then keep up with your dehumidifier and maybe put some of those water-absorbing trays with powder in your closets. Make sure you have adequate ventilation in all these areas. Light doesn’t hurt either.
Of course, FSRG, I tried that can’t keep a handle on dampness.
You dont need a specialist. Just clean it and keep the basement dry.

sounds like you need the mold man- Spencer Hampy.
He will probably take a sample for analysis and send it to a lab. He really knows his stuff. He even did a segment on Good Morning America about swimming pools. Here is a link to his site: http://www.oasisie.com/index.html
The mold is located in the my basement, where I have a defumider as well as my clothes which is located on the next upper level.
