Hi, we are looking to buy our first brownstone and are looking for a great, well respected inspector that is also an engineer. It’s a very old home and so we want to make sure that we have an inspector that will do a thorough job Does anyone have any recommendations?

Robert Albani at 718 819 0174 is thorough and certainly gives you an honest inspector’s opinion.
I second the Matt Wynne recommendation. he is super-thorough and lets you ask questions the whole way, plus he spends time with you at the end to explain what he saw and what it means.
