I am looking for a tax accountant in Brooklyn.

I bought a house through an LLC. I want to do everything right from the start with renovation and future rental income – need a tax lesson.

Do you know someone who is a regular person, not a robot?

  1. Thanks for the good advice. It might make sense to not only look in Brooklyn. But with 2,5 million people you should be able to expect good people of any profession.
Joe Calcino didn´t return my call and his website states that they are too busy to respond to emails – good bye!

  2. Lou Carino – you really deal with some one who looks after you in a very personal, old school manner. Good rates. He always comes to your house or office.

Tel him Jeff from Williamsburg recommended you.

  3. for a tax accountant, why restrict yourself to brooklyn? it makes little sense. sure, you want convenience for the first meeting, but otherwise i would speculate there might be more sharp ones working in manhattan that live in NJ and Westchester.

I might further suggest that rather than look geographically, look at ones who specialize in real estate investing. These are the ones who know where to be aggressive and where to play it safe….. because they will be more closely following where the IRS flags will be and the latest cases and hot buttons.

just food for thought. when i go to the doctor, get any professional advice, i go to the best in NYC (rarely is it in Brooklyn). If you’re looking for something with a local political component or other under the table shenanigans, then indeed brooklyn would be your place.
