Recycling VINYL WINDOWS
A client has just replaced a house full of these vinyl windows, now we need a place to recycle them. Any ideas on where to sell or recycle these? Thanks! liani@lgmevents.com

It’s a nice idea, but I don’t think you’ll get anyone who wants to recycle these to use as windows. Costwise, if you didn’t save the jambs, it just doesn’t make sense. Even with the jambs, you either have to find someone with the same sized windows, or new construction. Odds are against finding the same sized windows, and not many people are going to want to install old windows in new construction. I think your best bet would be posting on Craigslist and see if anyone is building some coldframes or a greenhouse and will take them off your hands.
