Hey everyone,

I know I frequently see posts on here regarding schools so just wondering if anyone could offer any nanny recommendations? Just looking for a part-timer (5-6 hours per week) with at least 2-5 years exp.

Any recs are greatly appreciated.

  1. I can highly recommend my son’s former nanny who took care of him from 6 months -5 yrs. She’s a wonderful, uber-responsible, experienced caregiver. She s looking for a new position that is not quite full time,so she might be the perfect candidate for you. Pls email me for her contact information: hottentot63@yahoo.com.

  2. You can try some of the following sites:

    nynanny.com
    enannysource.com
    achoicenanny.com/nyc
    nannyusa.com
    teachercare.com
    profnannies.com

  3. justmoved is right – that’s not a lot of hours, but there are people always looking to fill time in their day if they have other part time nanny gigs. it might be worth joining park slope parents, people post nanny recommendations there all the time.

  4. 5-6 hrs and flexibility isn’t easy to get. you could try sittercity. try boards on schools or even playgrounds. some nannies of older kids only work the afternoons and like to get additional work in the mornings.
