Hey guys, we just started hearing a loud buzzing noise coming from our bathroom ceiling. We have a few recessed lights and a ventilation fan, and we hear the buzz even after I cut the power from the circuit breaker. Any thoughts? I’m concerned about the safety aspect. Thanks!

  1. All the power is definitely off and you still hear noise? Are you in a single family? I get vibrations in my windows and ceiling from a lot of things outside, especially buses. I’ve also noticed some creaky sounds near bends in steam risers and squealing sounds from some pipes when water is turned on. But loud buzzing, hmmm.

  2. It wouldn’t hurt to have a qualified Electrician have a look at it give my Electrician a call 347-512-4869

  3. If it’s making noise when there’s no power it must be sympathetic vibrations from something or maybe a beehive? Can you take the grill off the fan & pull down the light cans to look?
