I love miele – had them in australia. would liek to get them here but needs extra wiring for the dryer which i think might hold me back from doing so, but if i could i would.
i’ve had one of the 18″ miele dw for 10 years. as my kitchen and dining area adjacent and open, it allows us to use both the dw and the dining area at the same time. it has greater capacity than other 18″ dw and as the heating element is not in the wash area, plastic can go on the bottom rack. with that said, capacity is still limited and repairs are expensive. even if repairs are diy, the parts are half of what a new low end GE costs delivered. overall, though, the acoustics justify it if your layout presents challenges
