I’m looking to have a garbage disposal and reverse osmosis water filter installed. I need to have a hole cut through caesarstone for the filter’s faucet. Any recommendations for an installer? Thanks.

  1. Why wouldn’t you put in a garbage disposal?
I’ve had one for years– and love it.
    However– we
    a. never put grease/gritle in it,
    b. compost most of our organics.
Always flush it well, and buy the best model available.
Re: your cesarstone ‘cut’– couldn’t any granite fabricator
    do this for you?

  2. BK: Thanks- I’m still not sure about it either- but we throw away so much organic waste- that we can’t possibly compost- and we think it might be a decent solution- but I’ll keep thinking about it.

But I’m definitely installing the water filter- so any recommendations for installers would be great. Thanks.

  3. I think most plumbers will advise you not to install a garbage disposal. Your waste lines are much like your arteries, you don’t want all that grease and gristle building up in there.
