How can I vent a bathroom exhaust fan out of the window without it looking hideous?
I can not break the outer wall. I must vent thru the window. I’m considering either an in-window fan, like the xpelair (found online) but am unsure how to run power to the fan while still allowing the window to operate, or a traditional ceiling fan, running the duct work above the ceiling and out…

I’m considering either an in-window fan, like the xpelair (found online) but am unsure how to run power to the fan while still allowing the window to operate, or a traditional ceiling fan, running the duct work above the ceiling and out the window, but I can’t imagine an attractive way to pull this off.
I’m on the first floor so cracking the window leaves me visible.
Installing fart fans in windows looks really cheesy. Go with the box of matches.
box o’ matches and the window oughta be plenty
Placing a fan in the window on the first floor will also be a big security risk unless you secure the window in place afterward.
you don’t really need a fan if you’ve already got a window. Let the law of physics be your friend and just lower the top window about 2″.
I’ve never felt the real need for one.
