Quartz Countertop Recommendations
Hi guys. I know it’s been covered in the past, but does anyone have any new / updated recommendations on quartz (Ceaserstone, Silestone, etc) supplier / installers? Also, any scoop on where to get the best deal on new appliances? Should we still with lowes or HD? Thanks! jesse

After doing a lot of shopping around, we used ABF Marble in Queens.

Armando is the owner, and he is great. ABF was less expensive, by about 25% than SMC and Wholesale Marble & Grantite. They were 33% less than Foro.
My view on the reason for their grate rates: they have no showroom and all the employees work on the countertops (i.e., there is nobody there who just answers phones or takes orders).
They took out an existing granite countertop and installed a caesarstone top in the kitchen. It look less than a week from measurement to installation. The countertops are beautiful and the installation was great.

As a kitchen and bath designer, I do a lot of counters in Brooklyn. I use Foro at 3rd and 3rd. (718)852-2322. Ask for Joe Jr.
For appliances, your best prices are going to be from Levi at Soho Appliances. Online only. Once you’ve chosen your appliances and know your model numbers, email him for a quote. Delivery just like any other retailer. As always, check for damage upon delivery. Much easier to simply send a damaged item back and get another one than to try and get follow-up service. (This goes for any retailer.)

We used Granite Concepts out of NJ for our Silestone countertops. Their prices and pre and post-sales service were very good in our experience. For appliances, PC Richards was our choice for most of our appliances, although we did get our fridge from an online dealer in PA who gave us an amazing price on a special-order model that we couldn’t find in stock anywhere else and would’ve taken weeks for us to special order from any of the local retail stores.
Awesome, tks for the rec’s guys!
I’ve used Mondrial in Bensonhurst. They are pros and were even featured on this old house. Great prices and service.
Adding aerosols to the upper atmosphere could modify the chemistry of the upper atmosphere, affecting ozone and thereby having possible unintended impacts on the lower atmosphere.

Second SMC. Talk to Kelvin.
I use SMC Stone in Brooklyn. They’ve a bunch of synthetic and man made stones. Tons of good samples there. Negotiate with them. Also, you can get some good deals on appliances from Amazon.
