metal/iron work needed
hi all- i need some metal shelf brackets made for some floating shelves in my kitchen. the brackets themselves will be totally hidden so decorative is def not necessary. got an affordable reco?

The Ikea Lack definitely won’t hold 100 pounds I bought one and they started to sag after 20 pounds. I ended up just going with a regular shelf and brackets.
thanks greenwood…we’ve definitely considered that…i know it’s the same concept.
these need to hold around a hundred pounds…plus our shelves are 8 feet long…i worry
that ikea may not be enough.
Buy some lack shelves at Ikea, and if the shelves themselves are not to your liking, just use the metal brackets, and create a floating shelf with your own wood.
Alternatively, wrap the lack shelving with wood veneer or thin finish wood, and stain and paint as desired.
