We’re ready to do the Carrara counters in our kitchen (yes I know all the cons) and I have comparable phone estimates from all three of these stone places. I’d love to hear from anyone who has had recent experiences with any of them. Also, can I have more than one of them come in to measure and provide a final estimate, or am I committing myself to them once I ask them over? Thanks for your help.

  1. Some people deserve a review. We purchased numerous tiles and stone counters from Mondial last summer. While we did not get a quote from Foro, we were extremely pleased with both service and cost from Mondial. They did first quote our job off a kitchen sketch we brought them, once we agreed they took a deposit and sent a crew (with Alex an owner) out to template. Nice normal people! While we did try to also get an appt with Stone Source in NJ, they paid us no attention since we did not have our architect with us–didn’t know we had to bring our babysitter! A big YES for Mondial

  2. We hired Mondial to install our counter tops in our kitchen and bath and were more than pleased with both price and service. Would definitely recommend. Seems like you are on the right track with whomever you choose.

  3. Personally, I love Foro. I always recommend them and their service has never disappointed me. They’ve really come through on some seriously difficult projects.

As for final pricing, call them all and ask if they’ll give you a free quote. They can probably do it without having to take exact measurements, so stopping by for a quick look will likely not be a big deal.
