What Qualifies for an ALT 3 Contstruction Permit?

I’m hoping someone has more insight on this for me! I read on DOB that basic renovations need an ALT3 Permit, so I am trying to figure out if these things qualify for that permit on work I want to do in a soon-to-be vacant apartment:
1. I would like to take down some sheet rock walls and put new ones up (since some parts are badly smashed in, and spackling it would not suffice). Do I need a permit for putting new sheet rock? I am not making any changes to layout, electric, or anything for that matter, just replacing the broken sheet rock walls with new ones.
2. @ill I need a permit (ALT 3 or any others) to retile a bathroom (no changes to plumbing or electric)?
Thank you for your help!
1. Sheetrock: If at existing location ONLY with no fire stopping or fire penetrations being distubed then a permit is not required. If it is then you need a permit and an Alt type III will be ok.
2. Re-tiling of bathroom no permit is required.
If plumbing is also involved then a type III is not acceptable and a type II will need to be filed.
