"Prime" Stuy Heights Rent?
Hi everyone, I tried checking craig’s list but didn’t find any stuy heights rentals listed. Any other sites to do a little rent comparison? Hi everyone,

Interested in renting top floor of Stuy Heights brownstone (around corner from Peaches restaurant). 20×40 home, new white appliances, hardwood floors, ceramic tile in kitchen & bath, jacuzzi tub.
1.5 bedrooms.
$1300 too ambitious?
You could probably go as high as $1400; friends of ours with 1.5 bedrooms on upper floors are getting that much.
The top floor 2.5 bedroom should get at least $1400, depending on location.
I rent a 3 br upper duplex for $2250. It started out at $2600 in better times, but was renegotiated.
My 1 br parlor was $1550 until recently when we took it over.
I rent a 1 bedroom with yard access, nice renovation with lots of period detail, radiant heat in the floors for $1190 in East Stuy (myrtle/broadway JMZ).
I would think you could get more than $1300.
What does everyone think the going rate for a 2.5 bedroom, top floor, would be? We’re doing a reno now. Stainless steel appliances, new kitchen and bath, two giant bedrooms, smaller living room and windowed office / nursery. No laundry or yard access.
thank you both.
Not overly ambitious at all. I think you can get more if you want – certainly if there is no broker’s fee. You can check corcoran and other broker sites for comparison rents. They seem to charge more than $1,300 for a floor-through in Stuyvesant Heights. I charge more than $1,300 for mine.
Not overly ambitious. Yard access and W/D in basement would probably seal it.
