Ventilation for Finished Cellar for Owner Use ?
Just wondering what we could use for ventilation as no air seems to circulate in the cellar. Its a great space and we plan to create a rec. room, but not sure what we should do to make it more comfortable year round. We don’t have a lot of funds…Would a Mr Slim do it…

a low cost idea would be to open any small cellar windows you have, place a small box fan at the top of the stairs and turn it on full to pull air through the space and pull exterior air in from outside.
Consider an air exchanger:

The cellar is likely fairly temperature stable already – what you need is fresh air. An air exchanger is designed to replace the air in an energy efficient manner.
You will need to think about ducting for this but otherwise, the installation is reasonably straightforward.
