Leaking Hot Water Tank
My 5 year old GE Profile gas-fired hot water heater leaked last weak but hasn’t leaked again since then. My experience with these is that once they start leaking in rapidly gets worse but that hasn’t happened so far. Any ideas? Should I just call you Master Plumber?

What ire said; I’ve been through 3 or 4 A.O. Smith water heaters, but one was free when it had the good grace to leak just before the 10 year warranty ran out, rather than right after.
I would urge you to call GE now to replace it under the warranty, I believe their warranty is for 6 years, if you wait until the warranty is over, you are out of luck, if you replace it now, the replacement should last another 5 years.
Good luck,
maybe was just condensation. or maybe need a urologist.
I’d wait to see if problem occurs again.
