We are looking for a General Contractor that would be able to remove our old ptac units in all 4 rooms of our apartment and seal the walls with insulation. The main units we are removing are islandair with a gas line that needs to be capped. We would also need some glass and brick work for the front/back of our condo.
Any suggestions regarding reliable GC that would also be willing to work with our HVAC contractor would be great.
Thank you,
c
Perrone Construction did a wonderful job renovating my bathroom and refinishing our wood floors. I dealt directly with Don Perrone, the owner, who was more than accommodating to our needs. The entire job cost $12,500, which was exactly what Don quoted us. I highly recommend.
We are replacing them with a mini split ductless system called “Mr Slim.”http://www.mehvac.com/.
I have no idea how much it will cost to remove and seal the wall. We are still looking for a GC.
Cheers,
c
Can I ask what you are replacing them with? We have Islandaire PTAC units (that use gas heat) that are terrible and are trying to decide what to replace with. Also can you let me know what it costs to have them removed and the walls sealed? Wondering what I can expect. Thanks.
