Con Ed Sales Tax Percentage?

There seem to be different sales tax percentages for different kinds of Con Ed accounts. Our common area bill seems to get taxed at 8.875% whereby at least one owner gets a 4.5% rate. Does anyone know the correct sales tax figures for different classes of Con Ed customers? I went to their website and didn’t see any breakdown. I also understand that by law the ESCO sales tax formerly 0% will or has gone up to match Con Ed’s. Thanks.
To be clearer, it’s not the actual rates I’m asking about, but the sales tax on the rates. Thanks…
I don’t know what the rates are supposed to be but the “common area” is billed at “commercial” rates as opposed to residential. yes, a ripoff and I’m not sure what allows them to get away with it.
