Does anyone know if it’s possible to request old-style street lamps on your block? Our block in Park Slope has really ugly ones, and the next block over has nice old-fashioned ones.

Actually, our area had success by approaching our city council rep.
And re approaching, and etc.
They were finally installed. Very nice!

I received confirmation of my request via official letter to my home address. Then I never heard back from them.

I vote for re-paving the roads in some other Brooklyn nabes besides PS, before a mickle is spent changing your street lights. Just sayin.
