Hi, thinking of replacing my early 70s era gas boiler with something more efficient…and one I don’t have to worry about breaking down in the dead of winter.

How much would you think a replacement gas boiler for a hot water system should cost (boiler + installation)? 2 zones currently, heating a 4500 sq ft brownstone.

  1. I can send you pictures of a high eff. Weil Mclain that caught on fire if you’d like. Due to manufacturers defect and Weil wanted nothing to do with compensating the end user.
Call Gateway, get a price and let them do it.

  3. Get a high eff. condensing boiler. I got mine a few years back from Well McLein. Works great once it was set up properly and saved about have in the cost of fuel.
