Our washing machine is broken. If it cant be fixed (on 2nd try) tomorrow, we will have to buy a new one. Based on consumer reports I will be looking to get a Kenmore (Sears) or a Samsung but I will want to pick it up on Saturday. Where should I go to buy the machine (needs to be accessible from or ideally in Brooklyn, have stock of said machine and also ideally give me a decent price)?
Lastly, if anyone has a frontloading Samsung or Kenmore – how do you like it?
Thx
I too am a big fan of EBA. Considerably cheaper than PC Richard and a smooth transaction from start to delivery. (I did my homework first and knew what models I was looking for.)
P.S. I got a Whirlpool at PC Richard.
Call me for the lowest price. All the above listed companies are no brainers when it comes to me beating their prices. I come highly recommended.

Don’t buy from sears if you are having it delivered. 5 times, all damaged. Went with Best Buy. Long research on front loaders – LG having the best reviews that I found. Kenmore, Samsung – didn’t clean well, smelled of mold, lots of repairs. Price and extended warranty are a shell game. Beast buy came out the best in the end (warranty, tax, delivery)
Find the machine you like, then call Steve from http://www.appliancesbyphone.com with the model number. He will have it deliver to you free of charge and you won’t pay NY sales taxes. Appliances are delivered by P.C. Richard staff and trucks. In my experience, no one offers a better “delivered” price.
Never had a problem with P.C. Richard. Just look for the oldest salesperson in the department…….
I just had to replace my somewhat pricey European fridge in an emergency situation and EBA beat PC Richards’ price and delivered the next day (Saturday). They also took the old one away at no charge. The delivery/installation guys were great.
ditto on PC Richards. Sears used to be Whirlpool for Kenmore but no more. I have had great success with PC Richards and Whirlpool….last a long time 10 years or more. when they break I throw them out unless I can fix them myself….done that twice.
ditto on PC Richards – I think Lon is the salesman I’ve used in the past.
