When there is an existing boiler that is in use a report must be filed annually with the DOB per local law 62 of 91. When a boiler is voided either thr self certification or thru inspection by boiler division that boiler is removed and there is no more the requirement to file an annual inspection. Sometimes there is a duplicate boilerso the requirement is still there in other instances there may be new equipment which is not considered as a boiler for purposes of LL 92/91.
I can’t say with certainty, but I believe “VOID” indicates self-certified removal of previous boiler (whose serial # has been voided). Alongside, DOB records should indicate serial # of existing boiler (i.e. boiler that replaced previous).
