Table Saw for Use/Rent?
I need to use a table saw for ~20 minutes (5 cuts through 1.5″ oak). Any tips on where I could get my hands on one? I’d prefer to simply bring my lumber and make the cuts, but I suppose renting one could be an option as well. Thanks!

Are there any tool lending libraries in Brooklyn, like they have out west in places like Berkeley?
for future reference – there’s a woodshop in “park slope” (gowanus) called makeville (http://www.makeville.com/). nice joint. i took some classes there a few years ago. i think it’s on 8th somewhere around 3rd ave.
to use their workshop you need to take a basic certification course with them (to prove you know what you’re doing), but after that the shop is open for scheduling by the hour.
Yeah but imagine what dibs would make you do!
Sounds like a fair trade to me…
Denton will probably make you walk the dog.
Thanks a lot – I really appreciate the offers. I’m in Park Slope so I’ll try coordinating with Denton off the forum since I live in the neighborhood. Great of you to both jump in to help.
