Rental Listings
We are in contract to sell our Boerum Hill brownstone and are going to be renting for at least a year when we move. It’s been awhile since we’ve looked for rentals…other than traditional broker sites, streeteasy.com, are there any sites that you could recommend for finding nice rentals? We’ve had to list the rental in our house twice. We’ve only used Craigslist. You could screen out the BS by limiting searches to no fee by owner, but I don’t think the types of apts you are looking for are typically available that way.
Well, we’re looking for a 2BR, preferably top floor/PH with private roofdeck or terrace – we have 2 cats…kind of would like something very different than what we are moving from (1870s brownstone)… modern, or at least modern reno…Area: Boerum Hill/Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens/Park Slope/ Williamsburg.
Where would you like to live? What size place are you looking for? Perhaps there’s someone here that has a place that will suit.
On craigslist, ignore the listings in ALL CAPS, ignore the ones with lots of *** and !!!! and other odd characters.
oh wait.. there’s only 3 apartments left in Brooklyn.
“Craigslist seems to have weird stuff.” lol – no way.
i 2nd this
craigslist is really the only option. after you browse for a few days you’ll be able to easily wade through the shit to find the actual apartments.
