Right Sizing for HVAC?
I just found this site http://passivehousebklyn.net/building-systems/ where they describe the system they use to cool the house and I am just curious to hear the other brownstoners opinions. Is this correctly sized. What do you think?

Good Luck
Thanks for sharing this website. Its great! I can’t really comment on the sizing as you would need much more spefifics about the home and a mechanical degree/experience in this stuff. But I took an architecture and energy class for my masters in arch and I am very pro mini split ductless HVAC.
Most HVAC specialist will oversize your system (which is not good for your wallet or the environment) so its good to get a professional who knows what they are doing. Maybe the peopel running this website will have a good HVAC specialist to recommend.
