We need to renovate our kitchen from 1987 yuck to something more modern and nicer looking but not high end. Need, new cabinets, floor, countertops and backsplash. Will not be moving appliances, plumbing etc (except installing an exhaust fan if possible). While this all sounds easy, I am easily overwhelmed with choices for cabinets/floor/counter-tops. Need recommendation for interior decorator/designer who can help in selection and measurements as well as coordinate installation with a gc.

  1. Have done a beautiful kitchen renovation -it started out to be a window job and ended with a kitchen and bathroom renovation. He has a designer he sometimes works with, and is really good at problem solving which in the end saves money. He does nice finish work and has good resources. His name’s Andy 917-584-7286.

  2. I’m a licensed contractor. With a great eye… also a brownstone owner. There are many overwhelming choices. Since you’re not interested in high end, this will limit your choices and hopefully make you feel less overwhelmed.
You can still have a great kitchen without stressing or breaking the bank. I mean it is a kitchen so it won’t be cheap, but not moving everything does simplify things, and makes for a faster renovation.
If you like I can help you with all of it; from designing to contracting.
I have before and after pictures, references, and I do all the work myself ( with a helper) I like it that way so it will turn out exactly as I promise.
