Soundproofer for Coop Ceiling
I need a soundproof company for noisy child in upstairs apt. My glasses also rattle when people walk across floor.Don’t need suggestions on Neighbors behavioral control…been there done that. Just some advice on sound control I can do in the ceilings. Thanks

I have an all around problem with noise….heavy footsteps, child running, loud TV and Stero, no carpeting upstairs apt. I hear alot of Vibrations. I think there already is a drop ceiling over the original plaster one. It is a prewar building and I am on the lst floor. How much does something like this cost by the square foot?
If the problem is that much vibration from footfall noise it is a bit difficult to control as the actual structure is shaking. You can still dampen the vibration quite a bit by using damping materials and creating a floating ceiling. There are some good articles that you can read.
