Signature Faucets
Does anyone have experience with faucets from Signature Hardware? We need to do three bathrooms, and the top brands like Kohler and Moen are pricey. Do you get what you pay for with faucets, or are you really paying for aesthetics with the name brands?

I had a great experience with George Taylor in Tribeca when I was re-doing my kitchen and bath. They actually beat the on-line vendor price I had for faucets. Family-owned business, great to deal with. Here is their information:

The heavy, all brass, made-in-America faucets last a lot longer and fit better than the stuff made in China.
I think you get what you pay for in faucets, to a point. I really don’t like cheap/light hardware — but it’s not everyone’s pet peeve. Also, some brands make cheaper versions for big box stores so you can’t judge a faucet on brand alone if you’re buying at Home Depot, etc.
I’ve had good luck with faucetdepot.com.
