I just had had it taken away and powder coated, then returned. It is just such a tragedy to lose this. I am concerned I am not sure what the first thing to do is when it comes to doing the epoxy solution (if it could even be a solution).
Total bummer.
Anyone know where, without doing trial and error, I might be able to find a replacement that I could be assured would work right, without costing me an arm and leg?
Thanks! I still hate the idea of losing this one. It is my “big bessie”. Has served me well for six years and was the jewel on my parlor floor that I had re-coated. Just unbelievable to have this happen right after I spent the $$ to get it blasted and powder coated.
Manny Lassalle had a few of them (decorated Victorian radiators) a few months ago. The size wasn’t right for me, but they were already sand blasted and looked great. Give him a call at 917-292-1825. good luck
Someone posted an offer of free radiators in a thread yesterday: http://bstoner.wpengine.com/forum/archives/2010/02/antique_radiato_5.php
