I am renting what I believe to be a really nice apartment in Downtown Brooklyn, amidst an enormous glut on the market (Avalon, Brooklyner, Bklyn Gold). I’m able to provide good value for money compared to the other places, and an equally nice apartment. However, I’m struggling with how to market my unit.
Short of camping outside the leasing offices and intercepting prospective tenants, what can I do in addition to just putting it out there on Craigslist?

Drop the price. ALWAYS WORKS
If you own the building place a large banner in front of the building ” Lux Apartment for Rent by Owner”
Make an ad and place it in businesses around the area.
Tell your friends and family that you have a unit for rent.
Create a website for the place with nice pictures and an online app to complete…
