Architect for Rooftop Add + Gut
I would like to ask if anyone can recommend an architect for our 4 storey gut renovation plus rooftop addition. We have a classic aesthetic with modern accents and ideally they could do the full set of filing and construction drawings for $10-$15K

Please do not do this…
Never name your price…
You get what you pay for, take it from a retired Architect. They pay insurance, costs, staff etc. and for a 4 story gut renovation, you will not get much for that price. Your problems will just mount and it will cost you much more in time and dollars to redo and do it right.
I am sure that you are a professional person. You do not sell yourself short, do not look for others with talent to do sell themselves short.

If you are still in need for an architectural service / construction management give me a call or send an email. We can provide you either just with architectural service or whole package which covers everything including expediting.

I know this guy who makes clear drawings for residential projects at a good price, see his site http://www.millerx.com/cad but he doesn’t have a license to sign off. You should also contact residential architect Robert Bischoff (he has a low overhead) bob@robertbischoff.com

Hard to give a price on anything without seeing it. Call me to discuss. Have plenty of references.

This thread should give you an idea of how much you need to modify your vision of the architect’s fee (unless, of course, you’re willing to believe the comments from “Ethan”:
