  1. On the other end of the 80 Winthrop spectrum, I am looking at a tiny (297 sq ft) studio. I think the price is okay at $79K but it needs work and the maintenance is $318. The agent won’t tell me what percentage is deductible beyond “about 50%”. And this is actually more expensive per square foot than any other unit I’ve seen listed, especially the larger ones, and it is on a low floor with no view. It seems insane that it’s $1.07 per square foot. Thoughts? Is this just what happens at the tail end of co-op market for tiny units? Thanks.

  2. Lefferts Gardens:

Bldg: 2 blocks from Prospect Park, great subway access, lovely side streets, flatbush is getting better retailing: Wine shop, Indian etc, just got the green light for a charter school.

Well maintained Coop, the sponsor is a joke – maint seems a bit high
