I am in the process of building up a file of pics/ideas for renovation of our Victorian. Fixed 203K budget gives money to the contractors to purchase and install but I can supply the choices and resources….I need places to browse. Have been on Houzz.com, but it’s so high-end I am not seeing a lot of what I can relate to. HouseWeb was suggested and they are interesting but I see more talk than pics…..
I would greatly appreciate anyone’s suggestions where they have enjoyed looking. Thanks in advance.

  1. Just so anyone knows….I swear I did not post four times! Problematic, I guess.

Thank you so much to CHM for recommending the “OurVictorianHouse” blog. I am so enjoying it! I see many pics that echo our (much smaller) Victorian.

  2. Thanks so much for the recommendations….someone also recommended houzz.com; I enjoyed looking but found it …. much more high- end than I am doing.

  6. I second “Restoring a House in the City.” Also enjoy “Bungalow Kitchens” and “Bungalow Bathrooms” and DoorSixteen, KatyElliot, WaryMeyers, and Rita Konig’s blog on New York Times site. And most especially the late, lamented Domino magazine and Conran’s 1974 “The House Book.”
