Enourmous For Sale Sign
ALTA NYC put up an enourmous “For Sale” sign recently in front a brownstone at 204 St John’s Place. This isn’t a normal for sale sign, but rather a 8′ x 5′ sign in the front yard facing the street. It is a tremendous eye sore and as nearby property owners, are there any regulations…

It is a tremendous eye sore and as nearby property owners, are there any regulations about the size of a sign?
Also, is ALTA NYC a licensed RE broker. Their website seemed to indicate that they are a rental broker, but not sales. Is there any way to run a check on them?
You can go othe NYS DOS site to check them out. If they’re licensed by the state, they can do both – sales and rentals.
Instead of making bigger signs ask smaller asking prices!
Google it – Some really horrendous evaluations. About the 3rd entry down – not the restaurant, obviously.
