I would like to thank everyone in advance who may know of a GC who will do such transaction.
LOL, Thanks all. I’m Screwed
there is no way any of the approved contractors will play this game…you just wasted a ton of money… hire an approved contractor to correct the work that your relative did and cut your losses..any gc who does this is usually desperate for money and will not make the cut by your bank… why you went down this path confounds me.. if your relative told you that nudge nudge wink wink this happens all the time means that then he was really naive about the conditions of a 203k loan..you are fucked

If flawlessphoto06 knew how to write, then maybe he could talk about reading comprehension. Looks like some ethics lessons are in order as well.
Your lender should have a list of their approved contractors or ask the FHA 203k consultant.
Fellow Brownstoners,
I also would like to thank everyone in advance for naming contractors who perform this illegal service so that licensed contractors operating legitimately may report them and their clients immediately to the Departments of Buildings, Consumer Affairs and Police.
If Mopar and quikazoid knew how to read them it wouldnt be that bad. I only asked for help finding a GC, I didnt ask for anyone 2 post nothing else but what I asked for. Simply if you can help, you need not to reply. Thank you
shady aftermath
I thought one provision of a 203K loan is that you are *not* allowed to have family members do the work. So you’d be asking a contractor to lie about it? Not nice asking them to risk their business. Not to mention what you’re doing sounds like it might be fraudulent.
