I am selling a 6 month old Atlas shelving and cabinet system configured as a home office. This system is modular and may be reconfigured as desired.

This system measures 117.5″ in width and includes upper cabinets, several drawers and shelves, work surfaces, all metal standards and accessories for installation. The wood species is white oak.

For those that know, I do not need to explain the beauty and supreme workmanship of Atlas products. You may take a look at their website www.atlaseast.com to price it out. My configuration sells for $13,386 new, and that price is without tax and a several month lead time.

This system is in perfect condition.

  1. Tacking shelving on to your wall is something you do in college or when you are renting a tiny little apartment where you can’t fit grown-up furniture. It doesn’t matter how well made it is – it’s still going to look like it’s from Ikea. It’s like someone came up with a really super well made and expensive version of the plastic stacking things where I keep my socks and stuff. If you have $10,000 to spend, go buy a really nice desk and a really nice matching file cabinet. This is like getting a $5000 frame for a $10 sports poster. Just buy a painting for chrissake.

Here I am probably offending everyone again, but sometimes someone just has to point out the truth.

  2. Hi –

I am looking for $10,000, which is about a 25% discount. Again, this is virtually new, in perfect condition.

Regarding the other posters – yes, it is expensive, but the workmanship is top notch and this system will last a lifetime. I don’t expect to sell this to someone who does not already know about Atlas Shelving. Those who know understand what it is.

  3. No, just looked at the website. ONE metal rail in $582. Must be gold plated. For how blah and kit-like it looks, get it from Home Depot and save $13k.

  4. was the leading “1” in “$13,386” a typo? if not, that would be more costly than hiring a quality carpenter to do customer built-in version and possibly faster than the 6 month lead time required ordering 1 of these babies
