I am selling a 6 month old Atlas shelving and cabinet system configured as a home office. This system is modular and may be reconfigured as desired.
This system measures 117.5″ in width and includes upper cabinets, several drawers and shelves, work surfaces, all metal standards and accessories for installation. The wood species is white oak.
For those that know, I do not need to explain the beauty and supreme workmanship of Atlas products. You may take a look at their website www.atlaseast.com to price it out. My configuration sells for $13,386 new, and that price is without tax and a several month lead time.
This system is in perfect condition.
One of my close friends has a set of these installed in his place. I’ve seen them in person, and I still think they look like ass. Sorry. I’m just not into the look, and what does that say about a product when you think it looks better when totally covered so you can’t see it??
Yes, they are very very high quality. And will probably last beyond my friend and his children’s lifetimes. But I don’t think you need to insult people who have different taste than you by calling them ignorant. I can appreciate the high quality of the products and still think they look like ass.
CG_ups – you are right, they do look nicer with stuff on them. As well, that is not a very flattering picture that I posted.
I have two other rooms in my bstone with these shelves – another office in oak and a media room in walnut. I wouldn’t part with the shelves in those rooms for anything. They are absolutely georgeous and functional too.
I am converting one of my 2 offices to a bedroom, which is why I am selling.
For all those naysayers, you are ignorant or don’t appreciate quality or both. You must see this product in person to appreciate.
There’s one born every minute!
Yeah, you can talk all you want about how great it is, but I went to the build-it-yourself section and like cmu says, $582 for a shelf standard? Sorry, there’s no amount of workmanship in a piece of rolled steel that can make that worth it. Clever marketing has suckered someone in on this. And I say this as someone who has nothing but solid wood furniture in his home from Stickley, Scott Jordan, and Pompy.
“My configuration sells for $13,386 new, and that price is without tax and a several month lead time.”
I suggest you contact the authorities – you’ve been robbed!
Jester…that was RUDE!!!
OP, you may have an easier time garnering interest for your shelves on sites like Apartment Therapy.
to be totally fair, the shelves look a lot nicer with stuff on them.
To be fair – i like LTJ’s
Your shelves look like total shit. Bring them to the next PLUSA gathering and we’ll all stomp them into tiny particles.
